1. What is a topper?
What is a Hair Topper?
A topper is a piece of alternative hair designed to conceal hair loss and add instant volume and length.
It is not a wig and it is not extensions, but something right in the middle. The topper is designed to blend with your own hair.
It is ideal for women with little hair or very fine hair.
It is very easy to put on and stays firmly and securely attached in place all day. Lightweight and breathable.
It is so natural that it looks like your own hair.
2. How do you put it on?
How do you put it on?
When putting it on, take some of your own hair from the front of the bangs and place it over the top.
With this and some hairpins to hold it at the sides, you will get a simple and elegant style.

3. Will it be noticeable that I wear a topper?
Will it be noticeable that I'm wearing it?
It is usually common to have a fear of the transition. But I was able to verify that these fears are really unfounded. How am I going to go from being a person without hair to having a gorgeous mane?!
It is very easy. At home they will get used immediately to you going with and without a topper. The people around you will NOT notice, and will simply say “I love your new haircut”. Some will at most think: what have you done to yourself?
And even if it were noticeable, what is the problem? Will they notice that I wear heels? Will they notice that I wear makeup? Well, it is the same. It doesn't matter. This is a matter of image, of feeling good about yourself. I am happier.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1. How do I blend it with my hair so it looks more natural?
In this video I show you how to place it so that it looks more natural.
Some people touch up their roots, or use hair fibers in the front area.
VERY IMPORTANT: When the topper arrives for the first time, most women have the same reaction of initial disappointment. This is normal for two reasons:
1. Because you have never seen yourself with so much hair and your mind rejects the idea and tricks you into thinking it is not natural. Curiously you start asking others and others will tell you that it is not true, that it looks great on you. Do not trust your own judgment at first. The mind deceives you. It happened to me and it happens to everyone. But then they end up loving their new great hair.
2. Because the topper has no style. Besides, it has been flattened and stored. It is a standard piece with no shape. It is essential to take it to a stylist and have it cut exactly the way you would like your hair to look.

2. How do I know if a topper is for me?
Almost all women can wear a topper. You only need to have some biological hair to hold the clips onto.
It is an ideal option for women who suffer from mild to moderate androgenetic alopecia or hair loss on the top of the head.
It provides just the right amount of density and coverage.
Perfect for women who want to hide hair loss at the crown, or simply add more volume.

3. How is the transition? Will a lot of hair volume suddenly be noticeable?
This is something VERY IMPORTANT.
It is usually common to have a fear of the transition. But I was able to verify that these fears are really unfounded. How am I going to go from being a person without hair to having a gorgeous mane?!

4. Will it make me very hot?
In hot weather both the temperature and the activities change. In general we are at home in shorts and comfortable, and when we go out on the street we are hotter.
It is obvious that having more hair is going to be hotter than not having it. But not much more than a woman who has her own long hair. In fact, I feel hotter on my neck because of the long hair than on my head because of the base of the topper.
The difference is that before, having little and short hair, the heat situation surely did not occur.
It is not a big problem or anything unbearable.

5. What type of base do I choose?
There are 2 types of bases: Mono and Silk.
In both cases the hair is injected to give a natural appearance and has clips around the perimeter to provide hold.
- MONO: This base is lighter and more breathable, but not as natural.
- SILK: This base is heavier but has a scalp effect that makes it more realistic.
Some SILK pieces also have a woven part (those with the larger base) which makes them much more comfortable to wear, especially in advanced alopecia.
On both types of base you can part your hair and style it exactly the same as you would with your own hair.

6. How do I choose the appropriate size, density, length and color?
- BASE: The base of the topper is measured in inches and has nothing to do with the size of the head, but with the part you want to cover. If the hair loss is advanced you will need a piece that covers the whole head. For example 7″ x 8″. Measure the whole area you want to cover on your head both length and width, and add 1 more inch.
- LENGTH: The length depends on the length of your own hair and what you wish to achieve.
For example if you have short or shoulder-length hair, a length of 16 inches (40 cm) is enough. - DENSITY: If you want the topper to cover all your hair, choose a high density. If you can combine it with your own hair, choose a medium density. It will all depend on how advanced your hair loss is.

7. How do I choose the appropriate color?
COLOR: If your hair is natural black it will be easy because no color mismatch will be noticeable.
But in general, matching the topper to your own hair is very easy, much easier than hair extensions. Nobody has hair of a single color, and it is usually very easy to match the shades of your hair.
You can also give it a color treatment if you wish, always better darkening than lightening. It is 100% natural hair and you can do with it the same as you would with your own hair.

8. What quality and density does it have?
- QUALITY: It is thick and strong hair. The ends are even. It is 100% natural hair with cuticle and lasts between 1 and 3 years depending on care.
- DENSITY: The density of a topper ranges from 100% to 130%.
The high density ones have a curtain that covers all your hair.
The medium density ones you will need to combine with your own hair. The smaller bases (up to 5 inches) usually have medium density and the larger bases (more than 6 inches) usually have high density.
In any case, it is always better to thin out and remove volume if you want less, than to see yourself with too little hair.

9. How is it washed and what maintenance does it require?
The washing frequency is every 1 or 2 months, and it is really easy. The topper's hair gets much less dirty than your own hair because it does not have the root that provides oil to your hair and it also has no direct contact with your scalp so it hardly gets stained by sweat.
You can use the bathroom sink, or a basin or tub with water and start by spraying shampoo and water from the ends.
Rub and wash the hair, avoiding as much as possible putting shampoo on the cap area.
Rinse carefully under the tap and leave to air dry on a plastic topper stand.
Brush from the bottom upwards and leave in the sun to avoid humidity.
Run a flat iron through it and it will look like new.
Enjoy your clean topper.
In this tutorial video you can see how to use washing it.
10. What happens on rainy days?
Before I had to wear a hat, especially when I used hair fibers, to prevent my scalp from getting stained.
But with the topper it is really easier because if it gets a little wet it dries naturally just like my own hair.
In this video you will see more than easy.
